Bruno Nabagn\u00e9 Kon\u00e9<\/a>, du Ministre des Finances du Ghana, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, M. Alex Arnaud Assanvo, Secr\u00e9taire Ex\u00e9cutif de l’Initiative, ainsi que les principaux acteurs de la fili\u00e8re des deux pays, dont le Conseil Caf\u00e9-Cacao (CCC) et le Cocoa Board du Ghana.<\/p>\nLes \u00e9changes ont principalement port\u00e9 sur l’am\u00e9lioration des revenus des producteurs. Le Ministre a insist\u00e9 sur l’harmonisation des politiques de prix et des calendriers de commercialisation comme imp\u00e9ratif de justice \u00e9conomique, afin que les cultivateurs puissent tirer un revenu d\u00e9cent de leur travail.<\/p>\n
Face aux menaces que repr\u00e9sentent le swollen shoot et les effets du changement climatique, il a \u00e9galement plaid\u00e9 pour une mutualisation accrue des moyens de recherche, des financements et des expertises scientifiques.<\/p>\n
Le ministre ivoirien a rappel\u00e9 la port\u00e9e strat\u00e9gique de cette alliance entre deux nations qui fournissent les deux tiers de la production mondiale de cacao, soulignant que cette position dominante leur conf\u00e8re une responsabilit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8re envers les producteurs.<\/p>\n
Cette r\u00e9union, tenue en pr\u00e9lude au sommet de haut niveau entre les chefs d’\u00c9tat ivoirien et ghan\u00e9en, a \u00e9galement permis de faire le bilan des activit\u00e9s men\u00e9es depuis la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente session et d\u2019\u00e9valuer les avanc\u00e9es enregistr\u00e9es dans la mise en \u0153uvre des objectifs communs des deux pays.
